How do I find print books I can use for my research?
- Search the Erwin Library Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC):
- Copy the call number
- Locate the book on the library shelf; most are in the General Collection
- Browse the shelves near a book you have found already to be useful; other books in the same call number range may also be useful to your research:
- The LC Classification Brochure is available online and also in paper copies at the library Circulation Desk
- Have a copy with you to help you find call number areas to browse
- Make an Interlibrary Loan request for a Book:
- The Erwin Library will borrow it for you to pick up here at WCC
- Just give yourself a week or so for the process
